Nursing Convocation & Pinning Ceremony

The CUNY School of Professional Studies Nursing Programs host the 2024 Nursing Convocation and Pinning Ceremony, an annual special event highlighting the hard work and dedication that the nursing students of CUNY SPS have exhibited in pursuit of their degrees. 

The Convocation will feature a keynote address delivered by Melissa Hinds, MSN, RN. Melissa is the Director of the Online Assistance Unit, and Associate Director for Health and Technology at the Center for Practice Innovations, Division of Behavioral Health Services and Policy Research of the New York State Psychiatric Institute. Melissa is also a proud alumna of the CUNY SPS nursing program, having earned both her BSN and MSN through our school.

The ceremony will also include remarks from a graduating nurse representing the BSN and MSN programs, respectively.

Registration to attend the ceremony in person has ended. Graduates and faculty will be provided with a link to the virtual livestream, so that they may share it with their friends and family.
