Sojung Park

Sojung Park worked in the apparel industry for five years while attending part-time evening classes before transferring to CUNY SPS as an Information Systems major. She strongly believes in advocating for her community and has demonstrated this commitment throughout her life. Her journey began by participating in Plan International's Youth United for Global Action and Awareness (YUGA) program and continued throughout her college career by founding the Global Civic Engagement Club at Bergen Community College. She has also received training from the college program of the Korean American Grassroots Conference to develop a greater sense of community ownership.
