Join students and faculty for a Day in the Life conversation with Dr. Ashley Hoffman, a personnel research psychologist for the federal government, as she discusses her path to Industrial/Organization Psychology, her past and current positions and roles, her research, and how it all ties to the broader field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Dr. Hoffman is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist with over ten years of experience in the field. She has spent much of that time in the teaching and training space, and is also an expert in assessment, including job analysis, test development, and selection processes. In the course of her career, Dr. Hoffman has worked with experts in a variety of occupations, including sales, finance, construction, railroad personnel, and law enforcement. A teacher at heart, she always seeks to find the growth potential in her customers, and enjoys working in the field to ensure her contributions are the right fit for the people doing the work, as well as properly understood, implemented, and championed by those on the front lines.

This talk will be 30-40 minutes, with a 20-30 minute Q & A to follow.
