Non-Degree Programs

The CUNY School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) welcomes visiting and non-degree students who would like to enroll in a class, but not complete a degree through our institution.  Whether you are a visiting student enrolled in another institution or non-degree student seeking personal or professional enrichment, we invite you to browse our offerings and explore how our courses can help you catch up on credits, complete prerequisites for a graduate program, or learn something new. Students who are currently enrolled in another CUNY college should request to enroll in a course at CUNY SPS through ePermit in CUNYfirst.

While CUNY’s tuition is among the lowest in New York State, it is important to note that non-degree courses do not qualify for financial aid. Non-degree students are encouraged to explore the payment plan which makes tuition more affordable by allowing you to better manage your payments.
