Maureen Belluscio is an Adjunct Professor of Disability Studies with CUNY School of Continuing and Professional Studies. She teaches the masters level Disability Law and Policy course. Maureen is a Senior Staff Attorney in the Disability Justice Program at New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, a community-driven civil rights nonprofit located in New York City. Prior to joining NYLPI in 2014, Maureen was a Staff Attorney with several legal services organizations where she represented survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in family court and other civil actions. Maureen holds a BA from New York University, and received her JD from the Villanova University School of Law.
